In America, a child goes missing every 40 seconds.
For the parents you never think it's gonna happen to your kids until it becomes reality.
Working mom and waitress Karla Dyson (Oscar-winner Halle Berry, Kingsman: The Golden Circle) is experiencing every parents worst nightmare when in a split-second her son Frankie (newcomer Sage Correa) is snatched by a stranger and put in that person's car and Karla knowing the inevitable follows them on the highway.
But when she goes to the police to report her son has been kidnapped and later looks at all the missing children's flyers Karla realizes that time isn't on her side and Karla wages a one-mom fight to get back her son at all costs and soon as she reaches her destination the kidnappers will realize they took the wrong kid.
With the summer movie season winding down, Halle Berry makes a triumphant return to the big screen in this actioner that can only be described as "Taken [2009] for moms" and while its not the best movie of the summer next to 'Wonder Woman' it's a helluva lot better than "Rough Night" and "Snatched".
My final cut: 3 1/2 out of 5 stars!
