Every week I try to scan articles to give me good ideas to share with my teachers. I thought I'd share some of that here. These ideas stream continuously here every week if you want to check back on your own.
Here are the 3 ideas I really liked this week:
1. When dealing with students who have endured trauma, it's important to remember that they don't always feel safe. This article addressed that and had some good ideas.
2. Don't fall into that trap of "If I Just Had Better Students!" This article gave some good advice to avoid that spiral that is hard to get out of.
3. Finally, I found this very interesting regarding "flexible seating." We've experimented with this a little bit at my school. It's something to consider!
BONUS: I found this one also and wanted to share it for parents and all of my math teaching friends out there. Here was a great idea for parents motivating their students in high school math.
I thought this video was hilarious. It's a new idea on how to interview and evaluate teachers, "300 style!" Thanks for reading. Make today a win. #JWT
