How I lost 13 pounds In 3 Weeks

DISCLAIMER: This is not a trick. I’m not trying to make money off of this idea. I tried this and it actually worked. It’s not a shortcut. If you’re interested, keep reading…

The best shape I’ve ever been in my life was right after I got home from Officer Candidate School (OCS) with the United States Marine Corps. When I got to OCS I weighed close to 170 pounds (I’m 5’10), was bulked up from lifting and working out, and was in pretty good shape. After eating nothing but “good food” and drinking water and working out for 15-16 hours a day, I came home at 163 pounds and carrying (guessing) 6-7% body fat. I was in phenomenal shape.

For years I managed to stay in pretty good shape. Being a coach, I was always on my feet a lot and usually pretty active. When I moved to Florida two years ago all I did was go to work and to the gym before/after work. I was by myself, and I had a hard time sleeping at night. I was literally working out two, three, sometimes four hours a day. I was in really, really good shape. I added a lot of lean muscle and cut my body fat way down. The last weight I remember before my car wreck was 173.

On August 1, 2015 I got hit by a drunk driver going in excess of 100 mph. One officer said the last speed they had recorded before he hit me was 126 mph. I broke my right hip, broke my right ankle, broke the talus in my right foot (my foot actually “slid” away from the rest of my leg), and completely shattered my left humorous. One doctor told me that I was lucky it didn’t rip my left arm off of my body.

Needless to say, my workout days were over for several months while I recovered. When I was finally able to resume some light physical activity, I would go through a cycle of “light workout Monday” and then “can’t walk to the shower on Tuesday morning.” I would literally have to crawl to the bathroom. It was frustrating, painful, and eventually I started wondering “is my life just always going to be like this?”

The point is, it’s been really hard for me to maintain any consistent workout plan since my wreck. I stepped on a scale three weeks ago and it said 198 pounds. That is BY FAR the heaviest I’ve ever been in my entire life. I didn't feel good. I was tired all the time.

I needed a lifestyle change.

When you’re trying to lose weight and/or just live healthier, it’s 75% diet and 25% exercise. Like the saying goes, “you can’t outwork a bad diet.” That is the truth. So I started working out and eating better. That no doubt helped me get in better shape, but here is what really, really kickstarted my whole workout plan…

I drink water every morning mixed with a little lemon juice, a little bit of apple cider vinegar (it tastes awful), and honey. I don't eat breakfast, and I keep drinking this from the time I wake up until I eat lunch (about 40-50 ounces total). This does a couple of things for me…

1. I’m properly hydrated, which boosts metabolism.

2. The lemon juice has a lot of healthy benefits, including helping cut fat.

3. The ACV has even more healthy benefits (this stuff is magic).

4. The honey keeps me from getting hungry, and it is also good for you.

After doing this for 3 weeks (drink this until lunch, eat normal for the rest of the day, workout a night) I lost 13 pounds. It was unbelievable. I have more energy and feel better than I have in a long time. I still have bad days, but in general, I don’t hurt the way I used to.

So if you’re trying to get in shape, or if you’re just trying to feel better, try this drink. It took my whole fitness plan to another level. Give it a shot.
